Our Child care accreditations NECPA Paths to Quality Indiana

Our child care and learning centers in Indiana exhibit the highest level of quality by being state licensed, nationally accredited and a Level 4 (the highest rating) on the state of Indiana’s Paths to Quality Rating Scale. Becoming a Level 4 learning center requires regular visits from a quality advisor to verify the highest level of teacher certification and training, and a variety of best practices as outlined by state early childhood educators and regulators. Achieving national accreditation from the NECPA is the final step to becoming a Level 4 learning center. At Abacus, we are proud of the child care we offer, and the teachers who educate our students.

Paths to Quality

NECPA

National Early Childhood Program Accreditation

Our national accreditor, NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation), has recognized excellence in our program by having independent observers verify the quality of our program according to national standards. These observers verified that our centers:

Provide quality learning environments for all ages
Employ qualified teachers who receive instruction when hired and ongoing training every year
Offer appropriate activities for healthy development at all ages-including physical, social, creative and cognitive development
Use behavior management techniques that develop self-discipline
Implement NECPA standards to ensure the health and safety of all children in our care
Encourage family communication and involvement
Seek to continuously improve our program through parent surveys and self-assessments
